The Guy
"He is the Flame Of Anarchy, watching from the ageless void, an enlightened shadow of his former self. The harbinger of chaos and destruction to those who harm and oppress. Terror of all evil mortals. Slayer of all malicious gods. Waiting for the time he'll take a tangible form again, to avenge the victims of the war machine, and vanquish the evil that gave it life. This page is my own fan-made profile on the character known as the Guy; the mascot of my favorite band, Disturbed. He has appeared in several albums as the "cloaked character" on the cover art, and in music videos as a dark antiheroic entity that ends up defeating large corporations or armies. The information on the page is taken and put together from various sources. Contents PastA couple years ago, a young man was born into our world. But this young man was born with a terrible sickness, and thus his mother named him Morbus - which is Latin for "sickness". Over the years, Morbus proved to be quite the disobedient child and thus his mother abused him all the time. This caused Morbus to unwittingly develop a darker personality that let him hear voices and eventually murder his mother. This deed caused Morbus to flee from his home, overcome with a fear that overburdened him. It didn't take Morbus long to give in to the other personality, which made him a sociopathic monster with a violence fetish and perfect insanity. His very existence caused fear into the hearts of many. But after another while, he wanted the infection to just stop. It felt like a parasite to him, a deceiver. It made him feel torn, and he wanted to be forgiven for his sins. He said prayer after prayer, but didn't feel any better about himself at all. It was then when he got found by medical staff and sent to a mental asylum. It was there within this very asylum that he got recognized by fellow mental patients as the one responsible for their loved ones' deaths, causing them to go berserk on him and eventually take his life. It was then when he got found by medical staff and sent to a mental asylum. It was there within this very asylum that he got recognized by fellow mental patients as the one responsible for their loved ones' deaths, causing them to go berserk on him and eventually take his life. Morbus got sent to Hell due to all the evil he had caused in the world. Feeling the torture from being inside the fire, he felt remorse for his actions and wanted to redeem himself. Because of this genuine desire for redemeption, he was approached by none other than the Archangel Gabriel the Destroyer himself, the Angel of Death, and the Hand of God who looked over humanity. Gabriel presented Morbus with a gift: More than enough power to escape Hell, in exchange for becoming the embodiment of Gabriel, which would also mean to exact lethal justice upon the guilty and finding what Gabriel called the Lost Children. Morbus agreed, and the beings merged together, causing the Archangel's divine nature and the darkness in Morbus' soul caused by his own evil to emerge a new entity of Sacred Darkness to awaken as it stood there in pure defiance. The entity appeared as a very muscular male human with the skin turned pure white except his face, which was now pitch-black. The face itself was more monstrous as well; Morbus' nose was no longer visible, his eyes had become more narrow and slint-like, glowing yellow on their own with red around them. This new entity referred to himself henceforth as The Guy. The Guy then used his newfound powers to escape Hell, re-emerging on Earth. Morbus' hood that he wore when he was still alive still covered his head, but his clothes tore up due to his height and musculature having increased exponentially. ![]() Over a year had passed since Morbus was in Hell, and he noticed a corruption throughout the world. He saw groups of people having managed to seize control of the world, the "Men of Power", who just gained more and more strength and kept feeding the entity known as Greed, while the weak continued to be more and more subjugated. He saw the people around him in apathy, either unable or simply too afraid to do anything about it. No one spoke their mind, no one tried to change anything, or make anything better. The Guy decided to stand up for them, and began to rally people to a cause. He showed them that they could change the world, and as people slowly started coming to him, he formed a concept. And with that concept, people started a religion. "The Belief." Time passed, and thousands of people were now following The Guy. More and more people were flocking to his cause every day, and they began to shout their thoughts to the world. They gathered amongst themselves. They protested many events the Men of Power held. The words from their mouths made them stronger, and soon tools like social media and the internet made them even more powerful. More people joined the cause each time, causing the Men of Power to lose a little more of their grip on the world along the way. Then something unexpected happened. As The Guy's infuence grew stronger, he himself also began to grow stronger and more powerful. The Men of Power were slowly starting to even lose their grip on the world, so they decided to do something about it. ![]() They attempted to assassinate The Guy at one of his speeches for his followers by bombarding him with molotov cocktails. But to everyone's shock, not only did he survive, he wasn't hurt in the least. It was like he became indestructible. His followers started to see The Guy as a messiah, a warrior sent from God to save them from their broken world, which was indeed what Morbus and Gabriel had set out to do - but The Guy never revealed to the people just what he is. His influence still boomed, and suddenly his face was on all of the news channels, in many articles, and all over social media. The world knew who he was, and they were all hearing his message. The Men of Power decided that if they couldn't kill him, they would simply remove him. They captured and locked up The Guy in an asylum, separating him from his people by chaining him up in its deepest crevices. ![]() The Men of Power flaunted to the world that they had captured The Guy, causing them to feel deified. The Guy felt that he was losing his powers and invincibility. The Men of Power realized that his strength came from being around the people who believed in his message, which unbeknownst to them empowered the Archangel within him. The people of The Belief, believing that their messiah was destroyed, continued his message. Despite The Guy's absence, their numbers continued to grow. Despite all this, the Men of Power knew that the ones who followed The Belief were just lost children without their leader. As such, they grew more and more violent towards The Belief. They've sent armies to march against the followers of The Belief, and planes that bore the very symbol of Greed himself. The planes went to bomb a desert with an oil refinery, while tanks and other aircraft went to destroy the rest of the world as we see it. Sensing all this happening by whatever power Gabriel still had left, The Guy decided it was time to finally do something again to help the ones who followed his cause. He heard a young girl sobbing intensely, causing him to look up and deciding to meet violence with violence, which in turn gave him the very strength he needed to break out of his chains. The Guy's guards overheard this, and informed the Men of Power about it, who were now frantic and worrying. The Guy made his way through the facility in a necessarily violent matter, and soon made his way to walk freely through the streets. However, the army was on the way. More destruction happened and the army caught up with The Guy, after which they had tanks and guns all pointing at him. The Guy then rose his fist in the air and people rushed out from buildings and under the ground to unite behind him, to once more join The Guy in his cause, once more feeling hope. An intense battle ensued between the rebels and the army of the Men of Power, showing that the people knew the truth and were not happy about it, wanting society to be a fairer place not run by a dictator. The Guy took some followers with him through some destroyed streets, and made his way to a building. The building was full of politicians and the world leaders - the Men of Power. They finally met with The Guy, who just grinned at them as the public ran past him and attacked them. The Guy then moved on to another room where Greed was residing. Again the mass of public ran past The Guy, but there was a large size difference, since Greed was actually fed by the very difference in wealth between the two groups. As such, Greed was indeed much larger than the public army. But the public army still wrestled Greed down. The Guy then climbed onto Greed's chest, squatting and putting his fists next to each other, after which a blue flame came out. He then flew up into space and back down to Earth, landing into the eye of Greed, causing the latter to explode into money, showering everything. The city then got rebuilt, and The Guy was very pleased to be the people's leader once more. But after a year or so, The Guy felt that he needed some time to think. After all, he still didn't know just what he could do now. So he informed his followers that he needed to be away for a while. ![]() After they showed him understanding, The Guy set off to the Rocky Mountains, where he gradually transformed himself into one of them. He remained in this state for three years, during which Gabriel revealed to Morbus that the Archangel had been watching the former mortal ever since birth, and that he needed a physical body to interact with the Earth. It was because of this and the fact that Morbus was such a destructive individual that Gabriel chose him. Gabriel then informed Morbus that while he indeed needs to interact on Earth, he could not draw power from it; he needs to draw power from cosmic sources, and as such would need to be in outer space. Gabriel also informed Morbus that the Archangel had immortalized him, and all this together gave The Guy enough motivation to set off into outer space, where he took on yet another new form that would suit the entity of Sacred Darkness he had become. A celestial body. ![]() After two more years, The Guy had become an enlightened shadow of his former self, watching the Earth from the ageless void, waiting for the time to come when he would need to take a human form again. As time passed once again, the world once more became very different from what it used to be, which The Guy knew because he saw it happen. He channeled and watched all that was viewed on the TV networks, seeing it all fall apart as he realized it had become the End of Days. Things were getting worse, and humans were becoming more destructive as a whole. The media was playing everyone against one another and baiting the entire world, as the people fell victim to the War Machine. This caused him to make the decision to reap a righteous vengeance on the War Machine and all those who created it. It had become Judgment Day. He transformed into a new human form, this time having his entire upper body covered in his black Shadow Robes, his face mostly obscured by the Hood of Shadows, his legs and feet respectively by the black Shadow Leggings and Shadow Boots, and his hands by the black leather Gloves of Vengeance. After that, he willed his interstellar motorcycle -the Shadow Bike- into existence. As his physical transformation was complete, he rode from outer space back to Earth, fully ready to do his "unholy work" for the sake of humanity. With a violent explosion of fire he landed on solid pavement - a highway. Before him was utter chaos like no other; helicopters and buildings on fire, and people's cars abandoned as though he was playing some post-apocalyptic video game. The thing was, to him, this wasn't a game, it was very real. He rode through it all on the Shadow Bike, heading straight for the organization that started it all, Global Warfare Manufacturing. His arrival was a rather silent one, sneaking in through the entrance without being noticed. When he reached the news room, he found that these reporters that he had watched broadcasting news while still in his celestial body were robotic. He decided that the first one to go was the Chinese reporter. He pulled the pin from one of his grenades and tossed it to the first reporter. She caught it and the whole room exploded into a brilliance of white light and flames. The Guy had left before the bomb exploded, making his way to the American reporter, and shot him in the chest, causing the artificial human to spew sparks from behind. Afterward, his head exploded in intense flames. The Guy went to the next reporter, killed him and went to the next one. When he went to the Master Control room afterward, demon-possessed zombies awaited him. Several tried in desperate attempts to get at him, but failed when a slug met them from his double-barreled sawn-off shotguns. The walking dead were munching on victims when he had walked in, among which was a young female named Hope. Soon afterward, all the walking dead dropped like flies. That's when he met the responsible Devil himself. He greeted The Guy with a vicious demonic roar and tried to pummel him with a palm of fire succesfully. The Guy saw it coming, and tried to duck, but was too late. The blow sent him backward, causing him to fall on his back. The Devil then towered before The Guy, and grabbed him to drag him out the window for one final blow. But on his way, The Guy managed to grab the revolver he placed in a vase before, using it to shoot him multiple times. The Devil was now left hurt and groggy, giving The Guy the very chance he needed to get up and blast a beam of blue light from his hand, sending the Devil flying through several walls until he fell completely out of the building. He met his demise when being chopped up by a helicopter blade. After the Devil was dead, The Guy grabbed the camera control system, the heart of Global Warfare Manufacturing. He picked it up and threw it out of the building, after which it exploded when met by the sun. The Guy then rode into space once more, and blasted the satellites with his shotguns to cause them to explode. After this, he accepted his exile once again, and went off into dark space. There was no more evil left to defeat. For now. Personality![]() The Guy is also out to find and unite the Lost Children - a group of people of all ages with a dark and/or troubled past and kind and gentle souls that just want to live a peaceful life. Powers & Abilities![]() Due to his current fused physiology, The Guy possesses powers far beyond human comprehension. These powers first manifested when The Belief grew more and more, causing him at first to become powerful enough to help humanity stand up against Greed. His power grew even less comprehensible later, when the Archangel Gabriel merged with him.
Explanation

He can hurl objects with extreme speed and accuracy, both in direct aim and complicated rebounds/interactions. Earthly Knowledge: The Guy has extensive knowledge of Earth, but professionalizes in political knowledge. Master Tactician: As shown during the uprising of humanity against oppression, The Guy is a highly competent strategist, tactician, and field commander. Indomitable Will: He is a very strong willed person second to none. He is able to ignore all forms of temptation including physical, mental, and sexual, as well as all forms of mind control Weapons Proficiency: The Guy has incredible knowledge and hand-eye coordination, allowing him to easily master any weapon. Multi-lingual: Though The Guy rarely speaks, he is fluent in all languages of Earth. Strength Level The Guy possesses a physical strength sufficient enough to break steel chains, and his regular punch holds the impact of ten-thousand fists. He can further amplify his strength by channeling his Sacred Dark energy. WeaknessesThough The Guy appears indestructible, his Human Form is still reliant on Morbus' thoughts and perception. As such, he can still be taken by surprise and overpowered. He is also vulnerable to magical attacks, which may indeed destroy his Human Form. If he were to ever lose his Human Form while on a planet, he is forced back into outer space, where he needs to slumber for a while to recover his power. While in his Human Form, he also has a finite amount of Sacred Dark energy to manipulate. He thus would eventually need to go back into outer space, assume his True Form, and restore his Sacred Dark powers through sheer willpower once he runs out. Equipment![]()
